Route bus sonar
Sonar system for retrofitted bus lines designed and developed in Japan.
This is a support system designed to cover blind spots during low-speed maneuvers such as starting and reversing of route buses, preventing contact accidents before they occur. It uses ultrasonic sensors from a Japanese manufacturer, installed at the front and rear of the vehicle to assist the driver. There are 20,000 units in operation for commercial use, including trucks!
